Leah Asbury
Leah has been in the business for over 30 years, studying at Miami/Dade college for fashion design and pattern making. Debbie joined her 5 years ago, and they expanded into dance apparel. Leah and Debbie, in addition to their traditional tailoring and design business as well as the “Attire by Lea” clothing line, have added design and tailoring of dance and performance wear for belly dance, flamenco, jazz and the swing community.
Due to her extensive experience and schooling in patterns and design, Leah is able to make clothing from your pictures. If you like a neckline from one outfit and the sleeve of another and the hemline of yet another, Leah can make it for you. Using her knowledge of material and textures, Leah has made custom clothing for many San Diego residents. She particularly loves to make brides smile as they try on their perfectly tailored wedding dresses.
